Xucker Premium is our classic: Finnish xylitol made from wood fibres. This is why xylitol from Finland is also called "birch sugar", although it is usually obtained from beech wood. Xylitol / birch sugar has the same sweetening power as sugar and also looks the same, but has 40 % fewer calories and is also ^{tooth-friendly4}. Xylitol is a versatile sugar substitute for sweetening and baking. Xucker Premium is our top recommendation for moist cakes in particular!

How to use Xucker Premium 

Xucker Premium dissolves well in hot and cold drinks and food. With Xucker Premium you can bake cakes and biscuits, make jam and ice cream, sweeten desserts or sauces and make syrup. To be used as a sugar substitute: 1 g Xucker Premium= 1 g sugar.

Restrictions: May not be used in beverages (except liqueurs) intended for sale.

Country of origin: Finland. Bottled in Germany.

Material of origin: Wood from sustainable European forestry, without genetic engineering.

Packaging: This tin is made of 95% paper. The inside of the paper tin is covered with a wafer-thin plastic film as required by food law.

Storage: Always close the tin after use and store in a dry place. Xylitol tends to clump together, even if it does not become moist. However, the lumps can be easily broken up.

Even small amounts of xylitol can be dangerous for dogs. Cats, on the other hand, tolerate xylitol without any problems.

For your information: The grain size of Xucker Premium is roughly the same as that of household sugar. Not every batch has the same grain size: there are significant variations, so that fine grains, coarse grains and mixtures of these can be present. This has no influence on the quality and purity of the product.
